Avenged Sevenfold : 2011 Tanpa Mike Portnoy

Berjalan sesuai perjanjian.

Aksi Avenged Sevenfold bersama Mike Portnoy yang telah berjalan sepanjang tahun 2010 ini akan berakhir. Di penghujung tahun ini, Mike Shadows cs akhirnya sepakat memutuskan jika mereka nggak lagi memakai jasa eks drummer Dream Theater tersebut pada tahun 2011 mendatang. Hal ini langsung diungkapkan oleh Mike Portnoy sendiri lewat akun Facebook resminya baru-baru ini. Berikut adalah isi pesannya.

Berita tersebut benar. Dengan sedih, waktu saya bersama Avenged Sevenfold akhirnya berakhir.

Mereka memutuskan untuk berjalan di 2011 tanpa saya.. Saya melewati masa yang hebat bersama mereka di tahun 2011, tetapi hal tersebut sudah menjadi keputusan mereka yang mana juga adalah rencana awal ketika mereka mengajakku berjalan dengan mereka.

Pengalaman yang menakjubkan bersama mereka di atas panggung setiap malam. Banyak pengalaman baru juga yang saya dapatkan. Saya bangga untuk selalu menjadi keluarga dari a7x dan sejarahnya.

Saya juga mengagumi para penggemar mereka. Tidak menyangka jika mereka menyambut saya dengan suka cita dan terus memberi semangat. terima kasih!

Saya senang dengan dunia musik yang tidak terbatas di depan saya. Cinta saya kepada musik sangat mendalam yang akan memberikan saya sebuah kesempatan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai hal dan berkolaborasi dengan teman dan banyak seniman yang saya kagumi.
